How to judge the credibility of web sources
BA (Hons) Learning Through Technology students (and others) need to be aware of issues with web sources. Anyone can put stuff on the web - some of it is very good, some not so good. Some sources are scholarly, others are commercial.
For assignments, use mainly academic sources - a good guide is whether the material (book, journal, other) is available from the university library. To be on the safe side, ask about the credibility of other material in the online discussions.
